SNOWMAGIC SELECTED FOR COCA-COLA SNOW MOUNTAIN

CONTACT: (888) 371-9512 / info@snowmagic.com
Upper Montclair, N.J. (June 14, 2007) -- SnowMagic® has been selected
by Stone Mountain Park in Atlanta, Georgia, to develop and construct a 200
ton snowmaking system for its new Coca-Cola Snow Mountain attraction, a
400' tubing hill and 32,000 square foot snowplay area that will open from
November 10, 2007 through January 28, 2008. SnowMagic® snowmaking systems
utilize its patented Infinite Crystals Snowmaking (ICSTM) technology
to make snow at any temperature, which will enable Stone Mountain Park to
reliably offer winter-themed activities for an extended period, including
the Christmas and New Year's vacation weeks.
For vacation and recreation venues that promote winter sports and snowplay, SnowMagic® has become a business
necessity to ensure white slopes for skiing, snowtubing, and snowplay. Even during the 2007 "snow droughts," destinations
that relied on SnowMagic ICSTM technology did not miss a beat because the temperature-independent snowmaking
systems are designed to work in the most challenging conditions. Currently, SnowMagic ICSTM is used at
installations in the U.S., Europe, Middle East, and Japan.
"This will be the world's largest snowtubing and
snowplay arena with the capability of making and sustaining snowcover regardless of the ambient temperature. We are
really pleased to be able to showcase our technology in Atlanta and to be a part of this extremely exciting project
together with Stone Mountain Park and Coca-Cola," said SnowMagic president Albert Bronander. "They join a growing list
of recreation venues including resorts, municipalities, and off-season minor league ball parks. Today even ski areas
that have always been able to rely on traditional snowmaking are looking to SnowMagic as the way the guarantee their
winter business." |
| Stone Mountain Park is Georgia's most visited attraction, drawing nearly
four million guests each year. With over 3,200 acres of natural beauty,
the Park is a unique and fun destination where families and friends can
enjoy the outdoors together, while experiencing an exciting variety of attractions,
entertainment, and recreation. Visitors travel back in time to the town
of Crossroads®, where they meet fascinating townsfolk and skilled | |
| crafters who show them what life may have been like in an 1870s Southern town. Other
favorite attractions include: the Summit Skyride to the top of Stone Mountain
(the world's largest free standing piece of exposed granite and the world's
largest high relief carving), the Scenic Railroad, the Scarlett O'Hara Paddlewheel
Riverboat, the Antebellum Plantation and Farmyard, the Antique Car and Treasure
Museum, and the Discovering Stone Mountain Museum at Memorial Hall. Guests
also enjoy the Ride The Ducks TM sightseeing adventure, the world's
largest Lasershow Spectacular, unique shopping, great dining, two championship
golf courses, Marriott hotels, a beautiful campground, and more. |
| Unlike traditional
snowmaking equipment that works only at temperatures significantly below 32F, the ICSTM system works in any
temperature by freezing water to create tiny snow crystals regardless of the ambient temperature. Utilizing patented
high compression technology, the snow crystals are blown out with explosive force, creating snow with a natural feel
and texture, with an average micron size (diameter) of 0.3 millimeters. Additional information on SnowMagic is
available at the company's website, www.snowmagic.com, or by calling (888) 371-9512. |
